Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is a system of co-educational residential schools administered by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Navodaya Class 9 Admission 2027 Last Date

Rural and Urban Candidate Rules
The official prospectus also explains the rural and urban classification for Class VIII candidates. OMR Sheet and Answer Marking Rules

Is Admission Guaranteed After Passing the Test?
No. Class IX admission is against vacant seats in the concerned JNV. Passing or provisional selection in the lateral entry test does not by itself create an unconditional right to admission. The final admission remains subject to eligibility, vacancy, document verification and NVS rules.
Documents Required After Selection
Provisionally selected candidates must produce original supporting documents at the time of admission for verification. The prospectus specifies proof of date of birth, eligibility-related documents and other applicable certificates according to the candidate's category and claims.
