SBI Junior Associate 2026 Vacancy Details

According to the detailed notification, SBI has announced 7,680 regular vacancies across different States/UTs. In addition, the notification shows 1,444 backlog vacancies. The vacancies are provisional and may vary depending on the actual requirement of the Bank.

SBI Clerk 2026 Selection Process

The selection process consists of three major stages:

1. Preliminary Examination
2. Main Examination
3. Local Language Proficiency Test, wherever applicable

Phase I – Preliminary Examination

The Preliminary Examination will be an online objective test of 100 marks with a total duration of 1 hour.

There will be negative marking in the objective tests. For every wrong answer, one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted.

The Preliminary Examination marks will not be added to the final merit list. Candidates will be shortlisted for the Main Examination based on the aggregate performance in the Preliminary Examination.

Phase II – Main Examination
