Important Guidelines for Varshik Parixa

  • Writing Format: Students of Standards 3 and 4 will write their answers directly in the question paper. Students of Standards 5 to 8 must use separate answer sheets provided by the school.
  • Result Policies (Std 5 & 8): As per the rules, students in Standards 5 and 8 who receive an ‘E’ grade will be provided two months of remedial teaching followed by a re-examination. Promotion to the next class will depend on their performance in the re-test.
  • Uniformity: All schools must follow this synchronized district-wide Varshik Parixa timetable, even if the school operates on a shift system.
  • Internal Subjects: Exams for subjects like Physical Education, Art, Music, and Work Experience will be conducted at the school level using tools prepared by the school.
  • Inclusive Education: Special instructions provided for Divyang (differently-abled) students must be strictly followed during the Varshik Parixa process.

Note: The District Education Committee will provide maps for Social Science/Environmental Studies and graph paper for Mathematics along with the Varshik Parixa question papers.
